Tacoma Sunrise
Thea Foss Waterway and Marina
The world was slowly waking up around me. The birds were singing, the horizon was getting brighter, and the sky showing a little pink over the water and boats below. And then a truck crossed the bridge behind me reminding me of the busy Port of Tacoma on the other side.
I’ve enjoyed this view from the Murry Morgan bridge many times. Unusually in the middle of the day when I needed to clear my head on lunch break. Sometimes, like this day, early in the morning for the sunrise. I’ve taken some great shots over the years, and you can see some of my favorites in the gallery and store.
I love that there are these gorgeous views all over my hometown that hardly require any effort to see. What are your favorite views from your hometown?
